Christy Georgina

Christy Georgiana is a Tangerang-based fashion designer and graduate of LaSalle College Jakarta (Fashion Design, internationally certificated, 2019), with additional sewing training from Juliana Jaya. Her work spans menswear and womenswear, kidswear, modest wear, and bridal, reflecting a versatile design practice built on strong technical foundations in garment construction and pattern making. Her graduation collection Gelombang Anyaman draws from Indonesia's traditional woven craft, translating woven motifs found in everyday objects into smart casual menswear through two hand-constructed anyaman techniques applied directly onto satin dove, cotton twill, and semi wool fabrics, with a zero-waste approach that repurposes fabric remnants into the weaving itself. On the industry side, she has been Head of Production at Paramount Enterprise since 2020, overseeing design output, production workflow, and QC across facilities in Tangerang and Solo, while also teaching design and sewing at Immerse Fashion Academy. Earlier in her career she worked as a fashion designer for Orientraco and Dream Bear, an LA-based international brand. Her achievements include 1st Winner of the Palm Award Fashion Design Competition 2017 and recognition as one of the 100 Best Designers at IFCA 2020.
